PADI Scuba diving courses are held in Waikiki, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii by PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors)
The PADI Open Water Course is designed to allow you to dive
freely both safe and secure to depths of no greater than 60 feet.
Having the Open Water Scuba Certification you will also be entitled
to rent scuba diving gear both here in Hawaii and elsewhere. The fun part about
this course is . . . BREATHING UNDERWATER !
Not
to mention the fact that Hawaii scuba divers and such are a
great group of people. During the course, you’ll make at least five
confined water dives four dives at local dive sites under the
supervision of your PADI Instructor.
Our confined water scuba diving training is held at Ala Moana Beach park which is an excellent laid back park with restrooms and showers AND water that is nice and warm.

PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:
- Knowledge Development (home study) to understand basic principles of scuba diving

Open Water Scuba Course -College Credit ?
You may be able to earn college credit for the PADI Open Water Diver course!
In the PADI Open Water Diver course, you learn to use basic scuba gear and standard accessories. The equipment you wear varies somewhat, depending upon whether you’re diving in tropical areas like here in Hawaii,or cold water areas like Monaray California.
Prerequisites
To enroll in the PADI Open Diver course or Junior Open Water Diver course, you must
- Be 10 years or older
- Must be in good health. Any preexisting problems should be checked with your doctor before starting a scuba diving course in Hawaii
